Full Stack Engineer
Stockholm · Flexible · Full-time
Gradr is an AI platform for Swedish schools. Teachers run assignments and exams on our own exam platform, our AI drafts formative feedback, and the teacher reviews and approves it before any student sees it. We deliberately stay out of summative grading, which is a big part of why schools trust us. Feedback quality is the heart of the product, and we use AI to help teachers better understand the strengths and needs of their students.
Since launching in August 2025, we've grown to 100+ schools, including Nacka Gymnasium, Birger Jarls Gymnasium and Söraskolan, and we're running a pilot with Stockholm stad. Revenue tripled in the first half of 2026. We have a white-label partnership with SchoolSoft, one of Sweden's largest school platforms, and an upcoming partnership with Unikum.
We're a team of five, three on product and two on go-to-market, privately funded by angel investors. We're early, we're growing fast, and we're looking for an exceptional engineer to help build what comes next.
The role
This is an engineering role first. You'll work across the whole stack, from database design to the AI pipeline to the interface teachers use every day. You'll own features end to end and have a direct say in where the product goes. With a small team, there's no one to hand things off to and no layers between you and the people using what you build.
What we're looking for
- Proven full-stack depth, with real strength on the backend
- Strong TypeScript
- Solid Postgres schema design experience
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs in production
- Strong product sense and a genuine interest in building something teachers trust
- Someone who wants the energy and ownership of an early-stage company, rather than the structure of a larger one
SvelteKit experience is a plus.
Why join
- Work on a product already used in 100+ schools, with strong revenue growth and major platform partnerships
- Shape the technical foundation of a company at an early stage
- Build AI that has a direct, positive impact on how students learn
